“What’s in a Portfolio?”


“What’s in a Portfolio?” was organised by the Lebanese Graphic Design Syndicate that aims to answer questions from young designers and fresh graduates regarding their creative portfolios and how to get hired.

Afforestation campaign in “Jaj Cedars” natural reserve.


In a special environmental day dubbed “Your cedar has risen”, the LGDS organized a campaign to afforest the JAJ natural reserve with Cedar trees, sponsored by the minister of Agriculture Akram Chehayeb who was represented by his advisor Professor Samer Khawand. Brigadier General Saad el Joundi was also one of the attendees representing the Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces General Jean Kahwaji. Members of the Syndicate were also participating in the event along with a huge crowd of local citizens and those interested in environmental affairs.

A New Board of Directors of the Lebanese Graphic Designers 2004.


On Saturday 14-8-2004 the Assembly of the Lebanese Graphic Design Syndicate gathered in the General Labor Union Headquarters to elect eight members for the board of the syndicate to replace the resigned board.

After modifying the syndicates name and after the elections that took place in the General Labor Union Headquarters in 25-5-2002 in the presence of the representative of the Ministry of Labor Mr. Georges Al Samrani, the new Board of the Syndicate met and the positions were distributed as follows:
